. Deauville is located near the coast of Normandy, France. In 1913, Mademoiselle Chanel opened her first boutique in this northern French coastal town. The place names in the Eau de Chanel collection are all closely associated with Gabrielle. Chanel.
The initial spray is bursting with citrus green and basil, a refreshing
feel. In the middle and base notes, a gentle white floral note emerges, blending beautifully with the soapy texture. This is also my favorite part, evoking the image of a well-educated and elegant young woman, beautiful without being vulgar, ethereal without being ethereal. The only drawback is the short-lived fragrance; after about three hours, only a faint aroma can be detected against the skin.
